Therapist/Treatment Pedagogue (Fixed-term Contract 75-100%, 1 September 2026 – 31 January 2027)

Fenix Omsorg

Fenix Omsorg is an established treatment home for men with substance abuse issues, often combined with criminality and mental health challenges. We use the 12-step program as the theoretical foundation for our treatment and have a psychologist, psychiatrist, and nurse attached to the operations.

We are now looking for a therapist with knowledge of the 12-step program for a fixed-term position of 75-100% from 1 September 2026 to 31 January 2027.

About the Role

The position involves close and varied work with our clients, where you will be an important part of the treatment team. Working hours are primarily during the day and evening. Evening and weekend work may involve solo shifts, which requires independence and confidence in your professional role.

Responsibilities

In the role of therapist, you will:

  • Lead, plan, and structure lectures
  • Facilitate presentations and group activities
  • Act as a contact person and provide individual counseling support
  • Work with social client work and daily motivational work
  • Be responsible for documentation according to current guidelines
  • Conduct drug testing and medication management as delegated
  • Lead morning and evening meetings
  • Perform practical tasks such as cleaning and some cooking
  • Be responsible for driving and transport
  • Work with supervision and social control

The majority of the role consists of leading treatment and being a stable and present contact person for our clients.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is educated as a treatment pedagogue or has equivalent education
  • Has experience in addiction care or work with this target group
  • Has good documentation skills
  • Is structured, responsible, and has good initiative
  • Is self-assured and can work independently
  • Has a B-driver's license for manual transmission

Knowledge, education, and experience within the 12-step program or further education in the field of addiction are particularly meritorious.

If you have personal experience with addiction, a minimum of three (3) years of documented sobriety/drug-free status is required.

A extract from the criminal record register must be presented before employment.

Personal Qualities

You have a genuine commitment to working with people in vulnerable life situations. You stand for equal treatment and distance yourself from all forms of discriminatory harassment. You are flexible, stable, and appreciate close client work. You have the ability to prioritize, take initiative, and make decisions – even in situations where you work alone.

We Offer:

  • A fixed-term contract of 75-100% (1 September 2026 – 31 January 2027)
  • Varied and meaningful tasks
  • Close client contact
  • An engaged and professional team
  • Developing work where you make a real difference

Do you recognize yourself in the description? We welcome your application. Interviews will take place starting in April.

Last day for applications: 11 August.
