About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 59-year-old woman living in Jönköping. The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

Requirements for the position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Tolerance for fur-bearing animals, specifically cats
• Patient, sensitive, and respectful in your work
• Knowledge of household chores such as cooking, laundry, dishwashing, and cleaning

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment degree of approx. 60%, starting in week 37. Until the roster cycle begins, there is an opportunity to work extra if needed, such as during the summer. Working hours vary between weekdays and weekends but are scheduled between 14:00–22:00, see the rolling 6-week schedule below:

Wk 1: Wed, Sat, Sun | Wk 2: Mon, Wed, Fri | Wk 3: Mon, Thu, Fri | Wk 4: Mon, Tue, Fri | Wk 5: Wed, Sat, Sun | Wk 6: Mon, Thu, Fri

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits occur according to the collective agreement.

Start date according to agreement.
