The Authority for Adults and Disability Support unit works with regulatory authority for the target groups of disability support, substance abuse, domestic violence, co-morbidity, and the reception center for adults, children, and families.

We can offer challenging and developmental tasks together with us. We consist of one unit manager, two team leaders, and 18 social secretaries. The unit is divided into two teams: substance abuse/domestic violence and LSS/Social Psychiatry. The teams have regular meetings together with the team leaders. The teams also have access to external supervision. As an employee, there is an opportunity for competence development based on needs.

Job Responsibilities

As one of our employees is on study leave, we are now looking for a new colleague for disability support.

As a social secretary within disability support, you work with regulatory authority under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and the Social Services Act (SoL). The target group you will primarily work with is children and adults within LSS. The work involves investigating, assessing, and making decisions on measures in meetings with individuals, as well as conducting follow-up work. The assignment involves ensuring an equal and legally secure processing with a focus on the individual's influence and participation. The work is based on a holistic perspective for the individual, and we collaborate from this perspective with the individual's network, other authorities, and organizations. The work involves both independent work and teamwork. The focus of the position may be adjusted based on changed needs in the target group.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a social work degree or another equivalent academic education where you have studied social law. We would appreciate it if you have experience of regulatory authority within LSS, but also SoL. You preferably have experience working in the business systems Combine, Cosmic Link, as well as the investigation method IBIC. Since travel is included in the position, you need to have a B-driver's license. You have a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives. You have good cooperation skills, are structured, and actively contribute to creating job satisfaction and well-being in the work team. Your handling is trustworthy and respectful. You are ready for a varied and challenging job that requires the ability to reprioritize based on incoming tasks. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.
