Do you want a summer job where you can truly make a difference in someone's life? We are now looking for temporary staff who want to work during the summer with a male client in Vetlanda. This position is perfect for you who want a meaningful part-time job and the opportunity for continued work even after the summer.

About the assignment

You will work with a man in his 30s who enjoys music, appreciates social interaction, and thrives on clear routines. He participates in day activities, so much of your work will take place there, but also at home or during various activities such as swimming. He is blind and has limited speech abilities, communicating instead through his own signals and signs. Your role will be to be attentive, interpret his needs, and provide support in daily life. The work also involves personal care and some household chores.

Who we are looking for

We believe that you, as a candidate, are a calm and confident person who can read others and find different ways to communicate. You need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as clarity and documentation are important parts of the job. You must be a non-smoker and not allergic to fur-bearing animals, as there are dogs in the household. A driver's license and car are an advantage, but not a requirement. Experience with personal assistance, autism, or sign language is meritorious, but we place great emphasis on personality and interpersonal skills.

Working hours and scope

Work shifts are varied and can include days, evenings, weekends, or sleeping nights. You will receive a thorough introduction and the opportunity to shadow an experienced assistant before starting.
