Are you interested in working within the field of domestic violence? There is a position available at the Domestic Violence Unit (ERV) where we are now recruiting a Social Secretary.

Your new job

At ERV, we put the citizen at the center of our focus. Key perspectives for us are to highlight the consequences of violence, both for adults and children, and to offer hope that it is possible to break free from violence. Our work is based on the Social Services Act and the specific responsibility to offer support and help to change one's situation. We target the groups of violence victims, perpetrators of violence, clients of sex workers (KAST), and sex workers (MIKA).

The unit consists of a reception, an investigation unit, and outpatient care. We consist of eight social secretaries and five therapists. Also working at the unit is a senior social secretary responsible for the daily work of the social secretaries, a coordinator responsible for the work in outpatient care, a unit manager, and an administrator.

Your qualifications

You are educated as a Social Worker (Socialsekreterare/Socionom). Experience from previous work with authority exercises in the field of domestic violence is meritorious. Experience within social services with similar tasks is also meritorious. You have an easy time collaborating with various actors. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability. A B-class driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Welcome to us

The Domestic Violence Unit (ERV) is located at Sofiahuset, centrally in Jönköping, and is organizationally placed within the adult area of Individual and Family Care.

We offer you as an employee a 7-hour workday where the work is scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday, individual salary setting, and supervision. You will have close collaboration with the unit's senior social secretary as well as the unit manager.

Good to know

We are looking for a Social Secretary, full-time, with immediate effect or according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled during daytime Monday to Friday.

In your application, we would like to see a CV along with attached degree certificates and current employment certificates. All your employment must be verifiable with certificates showing the position and the extent of your work. Even if you already work for us, you need to present degree certificates and employment certificates for services you have held outside the municipality. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be prioritized.

We use rolling selection, and interviews for the position will take place during weeks 30–32. If you apply for the position and are called for an interview, you need to be available during this period.
