We are looking for a caring and engaged personal assistant for a 19-year-old young man who loves activity and play. He lives with his parents in a villa in Jönköping and has limited speech abilities, which requires your proximity and support. He has a strong interest in swimming, taking the bus and train, jumping on a trampoline, watching motorsport on TV, and playing with his toy cars. In addition to these interests, it is important that you can manage his severe epilepsy, as he experiences daily seizures. Therefore, your presence is crucial.

The position is a parental leave substitute at 60%, with shifts during the day and evening, as well as weekends every other week.

Job Responsibilities: As a personal assistant, you will play a significant role in enabling a functional and high-quality daily life. Previous experience in similar work is advantageous, but the most important aspect for us is that you have the right attitude and feel for the job. The tasks are varied and include, among other things:

• Personal hygiene and care.

• Support in social activities and leisure interests.

• Help and support during meals.

• Accompanying to the swimming pool and other excursions.

• Assisting with dressing and undressing.

• Assisting with exercise and physical activity.

• Helping with transfers and mobility.

• Have a driver's license (preferably for both manual and automatic transmission).

• Are a competent swimmer.

• Are in good physical shape and non-smoker.

• Are calm, resourceful, and stress-resistant.

• Tolerate pets, as there is a cat in the home.

• Are proactive and can work independently.

• Speak and write fluent Swedish.

• 📅 Start Date: June 1, 2026.

• 📊 Employment Level: 60% substitute position until August 31, with a good chance of extension or permanent shifts in the schedule.

• ⏳ Contract: Initially, introductory shifts and an hourly employment offer are provided to ensure the collaboration works well before the substitute position is assigned. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.

• 🕒 Shifts: Day and evening shifts as well as weekends every other week.
