RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a positive, receptive, and effective social worker who thrives on meaningful and creative work? Do you want to help shape the social services of the future, where close care and collaboration are key keywords?

We are looking for someone interested in working with social change initiatives targeting adults with harmful substance use and addiction, co-morbidity, and social psychiatry. The position involves authority functions within the area, handling reports, applications, and follow-ups of interventions based on both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Abusers Act (LVM). Since the process for Violence in Close Relationships permeates all operations within the Social Services Administration, case handling in this area is also included. The unit is also responsible for individuals wishing to leave a criminal lifestyle and those involved in organized crime.

The Social Services Administration in Gnosjö has a process-oriented approach to ensure the entire care chain for those in need of our support. This means we collaborate closely with our outpatient care and cooperate with external actors such as healthcare services. We investigate and assess needs using ASI (Addiction Severity Index) and IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) to ensure legally sound decisions. The administration also holds good competence regarding Violence in Close Relationships.

Here, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to develop working methods and approaches within the framework of our goal work. We constantly strive to develop and improve our work, and participation from everyone is a prerequisite for this.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a degree in Social Work, or another education we consider equivalent. We prefer that you have experience working within social services, handling cases regarding adults with harmful substance use and addiction, or other parts of social services authority functions.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with current legislation. If you have education and previous experience using the investigation and follow-up instrument ASI, this is considered a merit. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience working in the business system Combine and have undergone other training, for example, in Violence in Close Relationships. We value that you have good knowledge of society's support systems.

The work requires that you easily build relationships, have the ability to handle pressured and stressful situations well, and take great responsibility for completing your tasks. We believe you are curious and creative in your work, but also that you have the ability to sort and prioritize what needs to be done both short-term and long-term. We believe you are interested in contributing to the development of the operation as a whole, both individually and in collaboration with others.

As a social secretary, you must be accustomed to expressing yourself well both verbally and in writing. Since travel is required for the position, you must have a valid driver's license (Category B).
