Description

The unit consists of a unit manager, 2 team leaders, 15 social secretaries, and 1 administrative case handler, of whom 6 employees currently work in the area of functional support.

Responsibilities

In your role as team leader, you will be the supervisor at the Unit for Authority Adults and Functional Support. You will work in a team with the unit manager and other team leaders within the unit. We are now looking for a team leader who has competence primarily within the areas of LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry.

As a team leader, your overarching responsibilities are to lead and distribute the work for the social secretaries, as well as to provide case supervision and develop the work.

The work includes among other things:

  • Being available and a resource for employees within the team.
  • Supervising cases, leading work, and coaching employees in daily work.
  • Distributing cases within the team and maintaining an overview of current workload.
  • Keeping up to date with current legislation, handbooks, routines, etc.
  • Acting as a presenter in the Social Committee, the Administrative Court, and the Administrative Court of Appeal.
  • Providing extra support in difficult and complex cases.
  • Carrying out development work together with the unit manager.
  • Together with the unit manager, ensuring that internal and external collaboration functions.
  • Assisting in the recruitment of new employees.
  • Together with the unit manager, monitoring the external environment regarding legislation, methodological issues, precedent court cases, etc.
  • Ensuring that new employees receive an introduction and, together with the unit manager, planning competence development for staff.
  • Assisting the unit manager with occupational health and safety issues.
  • Making authority decisions according to the current delegation order.

Qualifications

You are educated as a social worker or have equivalent education assessed as equivalent. The position requires experience of case handling according to the Social Services Act, and it is meritorious if you have experience working with LSS and social psychiatry, as well as IBIC (Intensive Basic Intervention Care) previously. Your employee participation is deeply linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in the development of yourself and the operations. A Category B driver's license is a requirement.
