I am a woman in my 40s living an active and independent life with some help from my personal assistants – and my two loyal four-legged sidekicks (dogs, obviously, not a rock band tour).

I am currently looking for one or more individuals for a fixed-term position over the summer, primarily during weeks 26–35. I would prefer someone who can work most of this period, but if you need to return to studies or other commitments when school starts, that can also work. Please let me know which weeks you are available. For the right person with a driver's license, there are excellent opportunities for continued work after the summer. A category B driver's license is required for any potential continuation, as the autumn schedule and tasks require a car.

You won't need to make life-changing decisions or lead team meetings – I handle that myself. However, you will be my physical extensions: legs, arms, and some muscle power where my body says "no thanks." This involves practical help at home, personal assistance, and sometimes accompanying me to work or on trips. Think: cleaning, hygiene, cooking, dog walks, and everything else that makes daily life run smoothly.

The work follows a pre-established schedule and consists mainly of 24-hour shifts. Therefore, you need to be comfortable with longer working hours and able to take responsibility for the shifts included in the employment.

For this to work, you must be genuinely dog-experienced – not just having petted a golden retriever on the street. You should feel confident with care and walks, regardless of the weather.

You also need to be in good physical shape, as the job is active and requires your body to keep up, and you must be a non-smoker.

You are empathetic and attentive, can take instructions and follow them without taking over, and respect that I plan and manage my own life – you are here to support, not to direct. This is not a care job. You are not here to take care of me – you help me take care of my life. That is an important distinction.
