DUTIES

In your role, you will work with individuals who have decisions regarding personal assistance. The position involves standard personal assistance work for individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as interacting with individuals with impaired speech abilities and those with significant care needs. Working hours vary depending on the workplace. More information about this will be provided during the interview.

Examples of duties in this position:

• Offer personal support, giving the individual with a disability increased opportunities for an independent life.
• Be a support for the individual and be available in various situations, at different times of the day.
• Support and help the individual with most tasks in a varied and challenging assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have other education or experience that the employer deems relevant, but we place the greatest emphasis on your personal suitability. Previous experience working with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities, speech disorders, low-affective interaction, and LSS (Social Services Act) is advantageous. We also request that you have basic knowledge of cooking.

ABOUT THE ADMINISTRATION AND WORKPLACE

The Support and Care section is responsible for operations within the municipality that target individuals with various physical and mental disabilities.
