The group home on Regeringsgatan is a group home for people with varying disabilities and care needs.

This advertisement concerns a permanent position where working hours are scheduled for days/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

Together with other employees, you work to make everyday life meaningful, clear, and rich in content for the residents. You will support and guide users in personal care, meals, medication management, household maintenance, social contacts, and communication.

An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate users to maintain or develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time, so they can live like others based on their conditions. You adapt the environment based on the users' needs and prerequisites. The work is based on individual implementation plans.

The responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Work tools used include: PFA (pedagogical approach and working method), communication aids, visual supports, sensory stimulation, and more.

Qualifications

Support Pedagogue: Education as a support pedagogue with a focus on the disability sector.

Support Assistant: Nursing and care program with a focus on psychiatry or the disability sector, or the child and youth program with a focus on social or pedagogical work.

Alternatively: Behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.

Experience with the target group is required for the position. You must be able to swim, not have a chlorine allergy, and hold a Category B driver's license.

Your work ethic is deeply linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in the development of yourself and the operations. Here, this means you have good cooperation with managers and colleagues, both at your own workplace and within the rest of the municipal group. You treat everyone with a high level of service, kindness, and quality through a customer and service focus. You take responsibility for participating in operational issues and are solution-oriented.
