About the position

We are currently looking for hourly substitutes and summer substitutes for our operations in 2026.

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with children and young people with neuropsychiatric and intellectual disabilities.

We work in fantastic functional teams where our task is to fulfill care assignments and create an adapted daily life filled with care. You will follow the young person in their daily life and be a support and help for them to succeed. Travel to and from leisure activities occurs, which means that having a driver's license and feeling comfortable driving a car is a requirement for us.

You should act as a good adult role model and be professional and innovative. You follow directives, laws, and regulations. You are driven by commitment and are unpretentious. Having a good attitude towards others is obvious to us, as is your ability to meet each individual based on where they are. We work based on a low-affective approach, which is important for you as an applicant to understand the significance of.

The employee's task, in addition to ensuring a homelike and safe environment, is also to plan the young person's life and adapt the approach based on their prerequisites. In collaboration with the group manager, health team, and school, the employee develops strategies to jointly address and reduce various behavioral difficulties in the youth.

You are required to work independently and feel confident in making your own decisions, of course with support from your surroundings. Our young people at the HVB (Home for Care and Living) live individually in apartments together with staff, who work alone during the night shifts. However, we are also looking for staff for our LSS housing located in central Jönköping where several young people live together.

We would prefer that you, as an applicant, have a relevant post-secondary education adapted for our target group, such as treatment pedagogy, social pedagogy, social work, pedagogical education, or similar.

In the event of employment, an extract from the criminal record register is required.

For this position, you are required to:

• have a B driver's license
• have experience working in care and treatment

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience from a similar role
• have relevant post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogy, social pedagogy, social work, or similar.
