Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to ensuring that daily life runs smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who fits the following:

• want to work with a soon-to-be teenager living in Åsenhöga, Gnosjö

• have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• have experience with muscle weakness, lifting, and support

• are not allergic to fur-bearing animals and like animals

• are non-smoker and smokeless tobacco-free

• have a car and driver's license to get to the workplace

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in similar work within healthcare/care

• have pedagogical experience with children & youth

• share the client's interests in being outdoors, music, and HV71 (hockey team)

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

The current form of employment is SLUV ("So long as the assistance assignment lasts") as well as a summer temporary position. The position is approximately 75%. The role involves working during the day/evening on a 2-week schedule.

On odd weeks, you work Monday and Friday 13:45-21:00, as well as Saturday 09:00-22:00 and Sunday 09:00-21:00. On even weeks, you work Tuesday 14:45-21:00, Wednesday 15:00-21:00, and Thursday 13:45-21:00.

The times on weekdays may change slightly depending on school schedules.

Position 2 is a summer temporary position between mid-June and mid-August during the client's summer holiday. Working hours will then be between 09:00-21:00/22:00 for all shifts, and the employment degree will be approximately 75%.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits occur according to the collective agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers must request a register extract from all employees who are to work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record register before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
