Job Description

You will be part of the investigation group, supported and led by a Senior Social Secretary who will guide you in the casework process you are responsible for. Our Senior Social Secretary has extensive and solid experience working with children and young people and is well-versed in our case management system.

The work in the investigation group involves investigating the situation of children and young people, assessing any need for support, implementing approved measures, executing other decisions, and following up on measures. Cases are handled in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), the Act on Special Provisions on Care of Young Persons (LUL), and the Act on Care of Mentally Disordered Persons (LSU). We work in close collaboration with the child/young person and their family, other units within IFO, foster homes, and external partners to best meet the needs of each individual child/young person.

For one of our positions, we are looking for a Social Worker with a specific interest in working with youth who are at risk of, or have developed, risky behavior and/or criminal patterns. We want you to represent the authority side in contact with the young person and their family, and to have a genuine interest in collaboration and close cooperation with the young person's parents to strengthen them in their parental role. You will also be part of the collaboration with schools, police, open care services, and other important actors in early interventions, such as SSPF and TSI.

For our second position, we are looking for a Social Worker who preferably has several years of experience in investigation work with children and young people. We are looking for you who want your work to have a tangible positive impact on the time and effort you invest in families. Where investigation work is conducted in consultation with families, and where close cooperation with open care services adds quality to your work, benefiting children and young people.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
• A valid B-driver's license
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
