WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a positive, responsive, and efficient social worker who thrives in meaningful and creative work? Do you want to help create the social services of the future, where close care and collaboration are key keywords?

We are looking for someone interested in working with social services for the target group of elderly people who, for various reasons, need support in their daily lives. The position involves official authority tasks in the area, and you will handle reports, applications, and follow-up of interventions based on the Social Services Act. Since the "Violence in Close Relationships" process permeates all operations within the Social Services Administration, case handling in this area also occurs.

The Social Services Administration in Gnosjö has a process-oriented approach and working method to ensure the entire care chain for those in need of support. This means we have close cooperation with the implementation of elderly care, the municipality's health and medical care and rehabilitation, as well as the Region. We investigate and assess needs with the support of IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus). The entire administration also has good competence regarding Violence in Close Relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a degree in social work, or another education with social law that we consider equivalent. We would like you to have experience working within social services, handling cases concerning elderly people, and specifically official authority tasks.

It is an advantage if you are well acquainted with current legislation. If you have training and previous experience using the investigation method IBIC, it is seen as a merit. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience working in the business system Combine and have undergone other training, for example, in Violence in Close Relationships. We value that you have good knowledge of society's support systems.

The work requires that you are good at building good relationships, have the ability to handle pressured and stressful situations well, and take great responsibility for completing your tasks. We believe you are curious and creative in your work, but also that you have the ability to sort and prioritize what needs to be done both short-term and long-term. We believe you are interested in contributing individually and in collaboration with others to the development of the operation as a whole.

As a benefit caseworker, you must be accustomed to expressing yourself well both orally and in writing. Since travel is part of the job, you need a B-driver's license.
