DUTIES

The work involves providing individual support to our users, who are adults with cognitive disabilities and neuropsychiatric diagnoses. As a support assistant, you work in a varied environment with alternating tasks that include both pedagogy, motivation, and care. The position also includes medical tasks. You help the users lead an active and meaningful life according to their own conditions and needs. At the group home, we work with contact person assignments.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, night shifts, and approximately every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a nurse assistant (undersköterska) with proof of protected professional title. Since the work involves documentation, you need to have good computer skills. We also expect you to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Previous experience working with low-affective handling, documentation, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and care is meritorious but not a requirement. It is an advantage if you have previous experience with the target group.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

The residents at Falkgatan are individuals covered by the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and have cognitive disabilities and neuropsychiatric diagnoses. They live in their own apartments within the group home's premises but need regular support from staff in daily life. Currently, the target group at Falkgatan is of mixed ages.
