About the Position

We are looking for personal assistants for a man with ALS. He has a high care need where at least two people always work together and help each other with all parts of the job. He has a tracheostomy and uses a ventilator around the clock. Use of a cough assist machine and tube feeding are included in the duties.

The man lives in the countryside a few minutes by car from central Jönköping, so a car and driver's license are required to get there. There are both a dog and a cat in the household, so you must not be allergic to fur-bearing animals.

Our client needs help with everything, such as hygiene, exercise, cleaning, etc. Experience in healthcare work is meritorious but not a requirement.

The most important thing is that the personal chemistry between you and our client matches. To be able to work with the client, you must master and understand the Swedish language both in speech and writing. The client has no spoken language, so it is important that you are attentive to his needs.

Working Hours

• Monday–Sunday awake night shifts
• 20:00–07:00
• 20:30–07:30

Initially, the employment will be hourly, but for the right person, there is a chance for a permanent position.

You will shadow an experienced assistant until you feel confident in the tasks.

As a company, we will request a police certificate (criminal record check) from the Police and a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency.
