Are you interested in working within the field of domestic violence? There is a position available at the Domestic Violence Unit (ERV) where we are now seeking a Social Secretarial Officer (Social Worker).

Your new job

At ERV, we put the citizen at the center of our work. Key perspectives for us include highlighting the consequences of violence for both adults and children, and offering hope that it is possible to break free from violence. Our work is grounded in the Social Services Act and the specific responsibility to offer support and assistance to help individuals change their situations. We serve the target groups of violence victims, perpetrators of violence, clients of sex workers (KAST), and sex workers (MIKA).

The unit consists of a reception, an investigation unit, and outpatient care. We are eight social secretarial officers and five therapists. The unit also includes a senior social secretarial officer responsible for the daily work of the social secretarial officers, a coordinator responsible for outpatient care, a unit manager, and an administrator.

Your qualifications

You are educated as a social worker. Experience in previous authority-related work within the field of domestic violence is advantageous. Experience within social services with similar tasks is also considered an asset. You have an aptitude for collaborating with various actors. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability. A valid B-class driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Welcome to us

The Domestic Violence Unit (ERV) is located at Sofiahuset, centrally in Jönköping, and is organizationally placed within the adult individual and family care area.

We offer you, as an employee, a 7-hour workday scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, individual salary setting, and supervision. You will have close collaboration with the unit's senior social secretarial officer and the unit manager.

We are seeking a social secretarial officer, full-time, with immediate availability or as agreed. Working hours are scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

In your application, we require a CV along with attached proof of education and current employment certificates. All your employment must be verifiable with certificates stating the position and the extent of your work. Even if you already work for us, you need to provide proof of education and employment certificates for services you have held outside the municipality. Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be prioritized.

We use rolling selection, and interviews for the position will take place during weeks 30–32. If you apply for the position and are called for an interview, you must be available during this period.
