5 positions available – Personal Assistants in Vetlanda

Do you want to work closely with an individual and contribute to making their daily life safe and meaningful? We are now recruiting personal assistants for two different service users.

Case 1: Younger woman with reduced mobility

In one position, you will work with a younger woman living centrally in Vetlanda. She has reduced mobility and needs support in her daily life, including hygiene, care, and delegated health and medical tasks. Transfers are done with lifting equipment, and she uses an electric wheelchair which she drives herself. She enjoys walking in all weather conditions, playing games, and gardening. As an assistant, you will play a key role in creating structure and continuity in her days. Since anxiety issues are present, experience in this area is valued.

Case 2: Newly established assistant group for a middle-aged man

The second position involves a newly established assistant group for a man in his upper middle age, living centrally in Vetlanda. He belongs to person group 2 according to the LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and uses no assistive devices. He has a strong interest in forests and nature, particularly hunting and fishing, as well as a strong interest in cars and music. Structure and clarity are important for his daily life to function well. As the assistance is newly established, you will work together with colleagues to build up working methods and routines.

Qualifications

• We prefer that you have education as a personal assistant, assistant nurse, or have studied child and youth activities.
• Experience working as a personal assistant or within care and social services is meritorious.
• The position requires a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). The extract must be for residential care homes (HVB-hem) and is ordered via the Police website.
• We place great importance on personal qualities.

About the position

Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, start date: August 17, or by agreement. Selection and interviews are held continuously.
Working hours: Daytime, evening, and on-call duties. Scheduling over 24 hours may be relevant.
