Do you want to work closely with people and help strengthen the quality of supported housing? We are now looking for a Support Pedagogue for our supported housing services.
Supported housing provides individually tailored support to people in their own homes. The goal is to strengthen independence, reduce isolation, and create structure in daily life. The work is largely based on motivational interviewing and support that makes the user an active participant in their own development. The target group includes, among others, people with mental health issues, neuropsychiatric disabilities, and experience of harmful substance use or addiction.
As a Support Pedagogue, you contribute a pedagogical and methodological perspective to the operations. You reflect on working methods, support colleagues in pedagogical work, and have a coordinating role in matters concerning methodological support, documentation, and common approaches.
An important part of the role is to develop and establish pedagogical methods that strengthen the user's participation, communication, and independence in social situations. You also contribute to development work regarding social documentation and implementation plans, and stay updated through environmental scanning in the field. Together with the manager, you identify needs and drive development in the operations, which continuously adapts its working methods.
We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role, enjoys having an important role in daily life, and wants to contribute to the development of supported housing with clear methods and a common approach. You can switch between working closely with users and supporting colleagues in pedagogical work. You plan and organize your time in a way that gets things done, while remaining attentive to what needs to be prioritized. You take responsibility for staying updated, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a working method that strengthens participation, structure, and independence.
We want you, as an employee, to feel good both at and outside of work. Therefore, you have access to, among other things, a wellness allowance, free swimming, and discounts on massage. Read more about our benefits: https://vetlanda.se/formaner (https://vetlanda.se/formaner)
We believe in a workplace where differences are a strength and where we always meet each other with joy and respect. Together, we are Vetlanda Municipality.
