The Social Services Board offers and works with various forms of care and support so that all residents can live as influential, independent, and good a life as possible. The Family and Youth Team (FUT) is part of the Social Services Board's outpatient care, along with Meeting Place (adult unit for harmful use and addiction), family center, field secretaries, youth clinic, and mobile student support.

The Family and Youth Team works with change work in families with children/young people aged 0-20. We work in a solution-focused manner with children, young people, and parents who have sought support themselves or based on assignments from social secretaries. We work to support families to an independent functioning daily life where the foundation is positive interaction. Our work is based on evidence-based methods.

About us

The Social Services Board's operations include both authority exercises and the execution of operations in the areas of IFO Outpatient Care for children and young people, as well as adults with harmful use or addiction, home care, special housing, LSS operations, and social psychiatry.

The outpatient care for children, young people, and families consists of two field workers with close collaboration with colleagues within the youth clinic, family therapy, student support, and counselors at the family center.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a therapist as one in the team will move on to new adventures. This is a job that breathes solution focus and teamwork in the challenges we help our citizens with. The operations are constantly developing, but especially now to meet new ways of working based on the new Social Services Act.

As a therapist within the Family and Youth Team (FUT), you will have an exciting and varied job. We offer a broad menu of interventions, both preventive and in decided measures. We work from a solution-focused and salutogenic approach.

We work with everything from conversations with parents, children/young people, and families, to pedagogical support at home in collaboration with the families. Our direction is to work as much as possible with interventions on the individual's home ground and where the individual has their security.

A large part of the work involves collaborating with other actors regarding the family, such as other units within the organization, schools, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and other healthcare.

You will belong to a fun and dynamic work group within the social services' outpatient operations that work together to develop our outpatient care.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for you who are interested in working with families, young people, and preventive work. You are curious and interested and have a good ability to build relationships with both families and partners. You have the ability to see the big picture, a good analytical ability, and work independently, strategically, and goal-oriented. You can easily translate theory into practice and are not afraid to go in and guide the client practically. In your professional practice, you also have an awareness of evidence-based practice.

You have experience working in treatment and change work and bring with you experiences and methods you can use in your work. We would like you to have experience with documentation work and if you have previously worked in the Combine system, it is a plus. It is also meritorious if you have worked with methods such as MI, rePULSE, Cope, ICDP, A-CRA, or similar. We would like you to have experience working with parental support in groups or other group activities.

We are looking for you who are a social worker, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or have another education that the employer considers equivalent. Great importance will be attached to work experience and personal suitability.

A Category B driver's license is necessary for the job.
