We are looking for you who want a summer job with the possibility of hourly employment with a happy and active man in Eksjö who requires 24-hour personal assistance. We are looking for you who understand the importance of good cooperation with the customer, colleagues, and us as the service provider. Working in this group means that the workplace is wherever the customer is. We are looking for you who want to become a safe and valuable assistant and colleague. We work according to daily routines and documentation. The daily work consists of supporting the customer in tasks they cannot do themselves. As an assistant, you need to be helpful with basic needs, such as feeding, dressing and undressing, communication, and personal hygiene. The work also includes accompanying the customer to various activities, such as day programs, as well as activities the customer wishes to do. We offer friendly colleagues and a customer who truly appreciates their assistants.

Working with the customer gives you a varied and stimulating job, but the job is also responsible, and it is important that routines are followed. Being able to set boundaries is a requirement. We would like assistants here to have a positive and light-hearted attitude. A positive and resourceful problem solver who sees solutions instead of problems – that is what we need!

The role and experience of the assistant

As a person, you need to be careful, responsible, sensitive, proactive, and positive. You will receive individualized introduction/training in all parts regarding the customer's need for help and routines.

You need to be flexible regarding working hours because we in the work group cover for each other if someone gets sick – we stand up for our customer and each other. You should not be allergic to fur animals as there is a dog in the home.

Meritorious experience

• Experience from work in healthcare/care.
• Swedish in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of sign language or a desire to learn.
• Category B driver's license.
• Good swimming skills.

Working hours/employment percentage

• Part-time summer replacement, when regular staff is on vacation until August 31st.
• Extra hours as needed.
• Opportunity for hourly employment after the summer.

About salary

• We apply salary according to the Fremia Collective Agreement.
• We offer health benefits and training.
