About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves protecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance is uniquely adapted to the client's life, and therefore tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

"I am looking for a substitute who can work approx. 50% plus an hourly substitute who can step in during sick leave.

For me, the relationship with my assistant is A and O (of utmost importance). It is just as important that you enjoy working with me as I enjoy working with you. Together, I believe in a long-term relationship and hope that you can continue working in some form even after the substitute period, for example as an hourly substitute.

But who am I then? Well, I am a happy and positive woman in my 50s with two grown-up children. I need your support where my MS sets limitations, such as hygiene, cleaning, and cooking. Some days are better than others, and I have more energy while on others, rest is my only medicine. I love spending time with family and friends and being outdoors gardening with flowers, etc. I also have a great interest in baking, cooking, and home decoration. Therefore, it is naturally super fun if you share these interests, but absolutely not a requirement as long as our personal chemistry matches."

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the client.

The requirements for the position are:

• willingness to work for a woman in her 50s living in Vetlanda

• good knowledge of Swedish

• valid B driving license

• tolerance for pets and no fear of dogs

• non-smoker

The following are meritorious for the position:

• experience in similar work

• shares the client's interests

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "substitute" with an employment degree of approx. 50% from June 1 to August 31, 2026. In addition to the scheduled working hours, there is an opportunity to work extra if needed. Working hours include weekdays and some weekends during daytime, evening, or night hours (night on-call).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
