Resource Pedagogue and After-School Center Teacher for Mullsjö F-3

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to work in a combined role as a resource pedagogue and after-school center teacher.

In this combined role with us at Mullsjö F-3, you will have an important role in creating safety, participation, and sustainable conditions for learning and development. Your task will be to support younger students who need assistance during the school day and in the after-school center.

In our operations, you will meet a diversity of students with different strengths, experiences, and needs. Through your positive engagement and approach towards children, colleagues, and guardians, you will see differences as an asset in building an inclusive school environment.

In your assignment, you will:

  • Support students both in the classroom, in small groups, and individually if needed, based on their individual conditions and needs.
  • Help create structure, safety, and study environment that help students succeed both socially and academically.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, student health services, and guardians to provide coordinated and long-term support for students.
  • Adapt working methods and interactions based on students' needs and contribute to an inclusive learning environment where everyone feels seen and significant.
  • Strengthen students' independence, motivation, and confidence in their own abilities through a relational and positive approach.
  • Actively participate in the school's development work and contribute to a warm and safe school environment where students and adults develop together.
  • As an after-school center teacher, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for the content, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are engaged, secure, and relationship-building, and who are driven by making a difference for students in their early school years. You have an inclusive approach and the ability to meet each student based on their individual needs and conditions.

We believe you have:

  • Education as an after-school center teacher, resource pedagogue, childcare worker, student assistant, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Education and experience in ADHD and speech disorders.
  • Experience working with students in need of special support, preferably within the earlier years of primary school.
  • Good knowledge of and experience in working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses and the ability to adapt interactions, structure, and learning environment based on different needs.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
