Responsibilities

Together with our current study and career counselors, you will be responsible for: counseling sessions within adult education (from SFI to YH) in Gislaved Municipality, as well as providing educational information and study financial advice. You are responsible for creating and following up on individual study plans. We collaborate with other municipal operations as well as with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), the business community, and the counseling network in Region Jönköping. The position also includes participating in development work in our own operations at Campus Gislaved as well as the department for work and education.

Qualifications

You who apply must have a degree in study and career counseling or something that the employer considers equivalent. We would like you to have experience of adult education and its prerequisites. You are flexible and embrace change, have good collaboration skills, are structured and stable as a person with the ability to take a holistic perspective. We would like you to have an open approach and be able to see different exciting future possibilities together with our students. Great importance is attached to the ability to achieve "the good meeting" with the student and that your basic attitude in all meetings is always "it is important to me that you do well".
