Prästängsskolan is the upper secondary school in central Eksjö, where the auditorium, along with the student cafeteria and school library, forms the entrance and focal point. The school environment has been built around the keywords: safe, permissive, encouraging, development-oriented, and collaborative. Relational work is therefore in focus. The fact that we all collaborate for the students' benefit is a characteristic feature of the work at the school.

To ensure all students succeed, we work with collegial learning in work teams, subject groups, and at the school level. The school's student health team is a valuable resource at all levels. We see testing new approaches based on science and proven experience, and evaluating their effect on student learning, as a key success factor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social pedagogue/student coach at our school, you are part of the promoting and preventive work. This means supporting students in their learning, both inside and outside the classroom, and contributing to a safe and pleasant environment at the school. A large part of the role involves building relationships and motivating students. The role includes cooperation with other professions within and outside the school. You will be part of a group with several social pedagogues/student coaches.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Social Pedagogy or education assessed as equivalent
• Personal suitability is highly valued
• Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis
