RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach Swedish to students in grades 7–9. As a teacher, you are expected to plan and structure your teaching according to the governing Curriculum and current research within the subject and learning. You are expected to continuously evaluate your own teaching and provide students with feedback on their learning. The position also includes a certain special education teacher assignment, where you work to provide adaptations for students with special needs, particularly in reading and writing. In the work team, you will collaborate with, among others, special needs educators, special education teachers, social pedagogues, school psychologists, counselors, and school nurses. You will work closely with your colleagues and together drive the teaching forward. The assignment includes mentoring.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you with a teaching license and eligibility in Swedish for grades 7-9. Good digital skills are a requirement for the position. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience with adaptations, particularly in reading and writing, for students with special needs.

You often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues and have innovative thinking that can be put into practice and leads to results.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

Junkaremålsskolan is a grades F-9 school located in Tranås. It is divided into two stages, and the upper secondary level houses approximately 330 students and 50 staff members. Our operations offer opportunities for student coaches, support pedagogues, and student health services as support for students' development and learning. You work together with the principal and colleagues to provide students with the best possible education.
