Your new job
We are looking for you who are a teacher of French combined with English or another subject. In your work, you plan lessons together with your colleagues to ensure that students receive equitable education of good quality and the best possible knowledge development.
You are part of a work team and share mentorship responsibilities for a class with a colleague. In your role as a mentor, you maintain regular contact with both students and guardians.
You actively participate in the school's development work and collaborate closely with colleagues in both the work team and the subject group. Your duties include planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching, as well as assessing student results.
As a new employee at Ljungarumsskolan, you will be assigned an experienced colleague as a mentor during your first academic year at the school.

The position is located at Ljungarumsskolan 7-9 in southern Jönköping. The school has approximately 500 students distributed across grades 7-9. Ljungarumsskolan offers communication classes designed for students with divergent language development.

Your qualifications
You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach French for grades 6-9, preferably combined with qualification in English. You have teaching experience and are well-grounded in the mission and regulatory documents of the compulsory school.
Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the role, as are good IT skills.
As a person, you are flexible and able to adapt your teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites. You work equally well independently and in teams, contributing to good collaboration among colleagues. You are a secure, clear, and structured individual in the classroom.
It is an advantage if you have experience with mentorship and working with students in need of special support.

Before employing new staff for our teaching positions, we must ensure that a valid teaching license exists. Therefore, we ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
