The school has identified a support need for students who require a smaller educational setting. The goal of this position is to increase school attendance and goal achievement for students with difficulties through individually adapted study support and a cohesive school day. Therefore, we are now looking for a teacher for our smaller educational group (grades 7-9). We look forward to receiving your application!

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will design individually adapted support both within the support services and in relation to regular teaching, often in collaboration with subject teachers and the pedagogical student health team. You will also support students in developing study skills, prioritizing, and organizing their schoolwork, as well as conducting oral or written exams. The group consists of up to 10 students, attending either part-time or full-time.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a license and eligibility for grades 7-9 within a theoretical subject. Previous experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) is an advantage. You have knowledge of the most common computer programs and digital tools.

• Creative: You often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues. You have innovative thinking that can be put into practice and leads to results.

ABOUT THE WORKPLACE

Junkaremålsskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located in Tranås. It is divided into two stages, and the secondary school stage houses approximately 330 students and 50 staff members. Our operations offer student coaches, support teachers, and student health services as support for students' development and learning. You will work together with the principal and colleagues to provide students with the best possible education.
