RESPONSIBILITIES

Ingatorpsskolan is a small school located in the eastern part of the municipality, situated on a hill in the countryside. It has nearly 100 students from preschool class to grade 6, as well as an after-school center where approximately half of the students are enrolled. The school is located approximately 3 miles from Eksjö and 1 mile from Mariannelund.

At this small school, we work together, and everyone's contribution is important. The security of knowing each other is a key success factor, and we collaborate extensively across class boundaries in areas such as recess activities and buddy classes to strengthen our values-based work. We have a strong and competent student health service with a counselor, special education teacher, and special pedagog on-site, supporting educators and students in daily work related to learning, attendance, and well-being. The school also has two lead teachers who drive the school's joint competence development. The focus is on developing teaching by making students more involved. Cooperative structures, classroom observations, and AI have been the methods used to achieve this this academic year and will likely continue forward as we have seen gains and successes with these approaches.

The after-school center also works on students' influence and participation through, for example, after-school councils. During the spring, after listening to the students, the group was divided into older and younger students during some afternoons each week. "The Club," which has become the name for the section where students in grades 3-6 will belong, will have the opportunity to adapt activities and content that better suit the older students.

If you apply for the position with us, you will become part of the team at the Papegojan after-school center. During the mornings, you will spend some time in one of our classes, either as a resource or as a teaching teacher, if you have qualifications in a specific subject. The classes at the school are relatively small, with student numbers ranging between 11 and 19 students.

You are responsible for independently and together with your closest colleagues and work team planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work with the student group according to the curriculum and the school's values-based work. At the school, we actively work to secure the entire school day and to ensure high attendance and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply should be a qualified primary school teacher specializing in after-school programs (grundlärare i fritidshem).

We are looking for someone who is relational and has an easy time creating and building relationships with both students and colleagues. In your work, you focus on the students' knowledge development.

You are responsible, structured, and quality-conscious. You have a positive attitude, good collaboration skills, and communicate from a solution-focused perspective in every meeting with colleagues, students, and guardians.
