Your new job

You will teach wood and metal crafts in grades 7–9 at Rosenlundsskolan in Jönköping. In the autumn of 2026, you will move into newly built facilities for wood and metal crafts. You will be part of both a work team and a subject-specific team. The role requires a flexible approach and a positive view of students.

You will plan and conduct teaching in wood and metal crafts according to the curriculum, and monitor students' knowledge development in collaboration with colleagues. You will create a safe and secure learning environment where students can develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher or have experience and interest in teaching wood and metal crafts at the lower secondary level. It is important that you have the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It is also important to be a good role model.

You have the ability to see students' different needs, take their individual prerequisites into account, and help students grow, develop, and achieve good results. Personal suitability is given great weight. Basic IT competence is a requirement.

When hiring new employees for our teaching positions, we must ensure that there is a valid teaching license. We therefore ask you to attach a current teaching license obtained from the Swedish National Agency for Education within the last two months.
