Personal Assistants Wanted in the Gothenburg Area, Hours from 10% to 100%
We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. You must speak and understand Swedish fluently, as many assignments require you to interpret for the person you assist.
Currently, we have everything from hourly positions and summer jobs to full-time roles (30–100%) that run as long as the assistance assignment lasts. We rarely have positions that involve working only during daytime hours on weekdays.
Our recruitment department will review incoming applications and match suitable candidates with one of the clients in GIL who are currently seeking staff.
Working as a personal assistant can often be different from other jobs. How it turns out depends on who you work for and who you are. You choose each other and build a relationship that feels good for both parties. For many, previous work experience and formal education are less important; it is usually about personal chemistry.
The tasks of a personal assistant depend on who you work for. Some need significant help with physical care, others with cognitive support. Some party hard, others travel far or have many children. Some study, others work. Some spend a lot of time at the stables, others love hockey. Some enjoy painting, others love princess cakes. Some are quiet, others are very social.

GIL has coordinated personal assistance since 1989. For us, personal assistance is about creating the conditions for a person with a disability to live the life they want to live. In many assignments, the client is the employer themselves, while others have appointed a deputy employer. Assignments and roles vary depending on the operation and function.
GIL's office provides support in areas such as management, administration, finance, HR, and education. Together, we contribute to making everyday life work for both clients and employees within the cooperative.

• Wellness benefit of up to 2,500 SEK/year

• Extract from the police record of criminal convictions must be presented upon employment
