About the Workplace
Kungshögsskolan is a school covering grades F-9 with after-school activities and special education services. There are approximately 0 students and 120 staff members at the school. Our operations are located in newly built, purpose-built facilities that provide excellent prerequisites for a safe and pleasant environment.
On the school, there are several work teams where operations are planned, implemented, evaluated, and developed in line with the goals of the curriculum. Through our lead teachers, collegial learning is conducted based on various development areas.
We would like you to have a strong interest in the possibilities of IT technology in teaching, and you should have knowledge of how computers and iPads can be used as tools in pedagogical activities.
Kungshögsskolan's focus areas since 2014 are:
- Relationships and interactions
- Lesson design
- The student's awareness of their own learning
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a teacher for class 4-6A in adapted primary school. The position includes teaching and assessment in Swedish, mathematics, English, and social studies, as well as mentorship in grade 4. Some teaching in other classes and smaller groups of students in grades 4-6 may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher for grades 1-7/primary teacher for grades 4-6 and qualified for adapted primary school within subjects. You are well-versed in the school's curriculum. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate and take responsibility for your tasks together with your colleagues. You see opportunities in changes, can listen and communicate constructively, and value differences, placing great importance on working towards the school's mission and goals. This means that together with other educators, you lead, organize, and structure the work so that a safe learning environment is created. As a person, you are positive, engaged, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.
