Trollåsen is a preschool with space for 36 children located in Fåker. Fåker is situated approximately 35 km (22 miles) outside of Östersund. Our preschool is an inspiring workplace where we put the child at the center. Everyone should feel a sense of participation, responsibility, respect, and security. At Trollåsen Preschool, we have a positive view of children. We use a language-developing approach and take our roles as adult role models seriously. Collegial learning is central for everyone at the preschool; we learn from and with each other to develop our operations. Your new job

We are now looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher for a fixed-term position lasting one and a half years.

You will be part of a team where you together plan and are responsible for the children's education and development. We start from the belief that all children can and want to, and that they get to be in a context where they have the opportunity to use and develop their competence. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Common tasks

• Plan and carry out activities based on the curriculum.
• Develop pedagogical content that inspires development and learning, while stimulating and challenging children's interest, curiosity, and attention.
• Offer each child secure care and promote all children's development and learning.
• Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests, so that all children can develop based on their abilities and prerequisites.
• As a preschool teacher, you are responsible together with your colleagues to plan, teach, document, and evaluate the content of the operation.

Your qualifications

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You have good knowledge of the school's steering documents and can translate these into daily work.
• Previous experience within preschool is meritorious.
• Have a driver's license.

We are looking for you!

You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to them in a listening and flexible way in teaching and the daily life of the preschool. You create good relationships and collaborate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role.
