Located one mile north of Tingsryd and three miles south of Växjö is Väckelsångskolan. The school is a grades F-6 school with approximately 120 students. Of these, about 60 students participate in the after-school program (fritidshem). At the school, we work for a learning environment that offers security, well-being, and a sense of belonging. Every student should be visible, challenged, and succeed according to their specific prerequisites. Since the school is a training school for teacher students at Linnaeus University, students are present in the operations throughout the academic year. Good bus connections are available to both Tingsryd and Växjö.

Job Description

We are now looking for a school resource teacher for a role within the school and after-school program. This role involves supporting students in learning, social interaction, and daily situations together with teachers. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, clear, and accessible learning environment.

The position is 70% and covers the autumn semester. Possibility of extension exists.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with experience working with students in need of extra attention and support. You have knowledge regarding Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF), low-affective handling, and clarifying pedagogy.

You have high expectations for all students' ability to learn and develop, and you believe in all students' willingness to succeed.

You are a good role model for our students and have a good ability to build safe and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
