Cederbergskolan is an F-9 school located near nature in a mountainous area. The school is situated in the heart of Föllinge, with direct access to cross-country ski tracks, a nice sports hall, and a newly renovated swimming pool. Our school currently has approximately 90 students from preschool class to grade 9. We are building a school for the future and are looking for dedicated staff who want to be part of this journey. We are seeking secure teachers who wish to work collegially and develop the school together with students and colleagues from preschool class to grade 9.

The Child and Education Administration has approximately 800 employees. The administration's operations cover the entire municipality and include preschools, primary and lower secondary schools (F-9), special needs schools, after-school centers, catering and facility maintenance, mother tongue instruction, and library services.

A day as a teacher in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology

We are now looking for you who are a teacher for grades 7–9 with qualifications in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology to join Cederbergskolan.

The role of a primary and lower secondary school teacher at Cederbergskolan includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge. You evaluate and develop pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents, the student's needs and abilities, both individually and together with the work team. You conduct well-established, creative teaching and find strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth.

In this role, you collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work.

This position can be combined with a lead teacher assignment. Lead teachers lead collegial learning and promote equal education within and between schools in the municipality. The assignment includes planning, implementing, and evaluating development work. Lead teachers should be a positive role model and ambassador for school activities in Krokom Municipality. Lead teachers are expected to act as a secure mentor for successful development work.

Your competence

We are looking for you who are qualified and certified as a teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences/Technology for grades 7–9.

Meritorious qualifications

• You have a strong commitment to student learning and the development of teaching.
• You possess good didactic competence and the ability to analyze teaching and results.
• You have good collaboration skills and can inspire and lead colleagues in pedagogical matters.

To be considered for a lead teacher position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• You are a certified teacher with qualifications in Mathematics, Technology, and Natural Sciences.
• You have at least four years of experience in teaching.

Other information

The position is a permanent employment (100%) starting in August 2026.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Krokom Municipality is currently making an investment related to particularly hard-to-recruit professional groups in certain geographical areas. Cederbergskolan is included in this initiative. Therefore, a salary supplement of 3,000 SEK/month for full-time work is paid to a certified teacher employed for this position.
