In the summer of 2026, Designgymnasiet, KLARA, Praktiska, and NTI Gymnasium in Västerås will co-locate to form Westra Aros Gymnasium. Together, we will have approximately 650 students in shared premises in the Mimerkvarteret district in central Västerås. We are looking for a High School Teacher in Mathematics and Physics

About the position

We are looking for a certified high school teacher in mathematics and physics for the autumn term 2027. The position is 100% permanent.

We are looking for you who are an engaged teacher with good subject knowledge and good pedagogical skills. We expect you to be able to contribute with inspiration and engage students in learning based on their different needs, as well as vary your teaching.

Furthermore, you easily build trust with students and guardians, you value close collaboration with colleagues, are open to others' knowledge, strive to always develop your teaching, and participate in collegial learning.

We place great importance on personal suitability. We will call for interviews on an ongoing basis, and therefore the position may be filled before the application deadline.

You will work at Westra Aros Gymnasium, which is a co-location of four existing high schools that will open their doors to partially newly built premises this autumn. Westra Aros Gymnasium will have nine different high school programs as well as TE4 High School Engineer. We have a little more than 70 staff members and will have approximately 650 students.

Our premises are located in Mimerkvarteret, with an attractive location right next to the Central Station in Västerås.
