We are looking for an engaged preschool teacher in Moheda

About the Position
The Northern Preschool Area consists of two preschools: Slätthög, located in the countryside, and Moheda Preschool, located in the town of Moheda. The vacant position is at the Moheda Preschool.
We work based on a joint project that spans the academic year, integrating our prioritized goals.
At Moheda/Slätthög, we actively work on pedagogical development and have high ambitions to continuously develop our education and ourselves, primarily through collegial learning that occurs in both spontaneous meetings and organized group settings.
We have a developed documentation process where systematic quality work is used as a tool to visualize and develop the learning processes occurring in the activity, allowing us to follow the progression of the individual child, as well as to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and activities. Documentation and systematic quality work are the engine of our activity and, in our view, important and fundamental prerequisites for offering a high-quality preschool – a preschool we can be proud of! To support our work, we have a pedagogist and a special education teacher. We view everyone in our activity as competent: children, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities
You will work within a children's group and may also participate in various groups aimed at developing the activity. You are expected to drive and lead the work on developing teaching based on the curriculum's goals and guidelines, together with the rest of the staff at the unit. Preschool teachers have planning time to fulfill their responsibility for teaching. The entire work team has regular reflection sessions. As a preschool teacher, you are expected to:
- conduct teaching based on research and proven experience so that the curriculum's goals and intentions are met and that each child's development and learning are promoted
- engage with current research and connect this to systematic quality work
- participate in systematic quality work by planning, documenting, following up, evaluating, and reflecting individually and together with the work team regarding education and teaching to develop the pedagogical work.
- conduct education such that care, development, and learning form a whole
- connect spontaneously arising activities and interests, everyday situations, and routines to goal-directed teaching from a whole-day perspective.
- design education and teaching based on children's conditions and needs
- design pedagogical environments both outdoors and indoors so that they inspire development and learning, challenge, and stimulate children's interest and curiosity.
Qualifications
A preschool teacher education and preschool teacher license. Driver's license Category B. Good knowledge of the Swedish language.
We would prefer that you have experience in the profession, but we also welcome recent graduates to apply. As a recent graduate, you will have a mentor during your first year. If you have experience and competence in language-developing methods and PECS (TAKK), we see this as a great asset. We believe you are playful, see opportunities instead of obstacles, and participate with engagement in teaching together with colleagues and children. Our systematic quality work is based on pedagogical documentation and our educational reflection meetings; therefore, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. In addition to education, we consider your personal qualities to be very important.
