Professional Teacher/Instructor in Transport – 1 Position

Your Responsibilities

As a professional teacher or instructor with us, your main task will be to conduct education at the upper secondary level with a focus on transport. This includes both theoretical teaching in the classroom and practical teaching, such as practice driving and load securing. As an employee, you will have the opportunity for personal development and to work in a varied operation with a pleasant atmosphere and dedicated colleagues.

Your Qualifications

You have a professional teacher's degree or are an instructor with relevant industry knowledge and previous experience in pedagogical work with young people or adults. You have good knowledge of computer systems and experience working with various types of transport, such as distribution, long-distance freight, special transports, and bus driving. A driver's license with categories C, CE, and YKB (Certificate of Professional Competence) is required for the position.

It is an advantage if you also have categories D, crane, wheel loader, and forklift instructor licenses. It is desirable that you also have a traffic teacher license.

What We Offer

Do you want to work at a vocational upper secondary school at the forefront? We are certified by BYN and are a Motor Industry College. Edströmska is a school with approximately 400 young students and 100 adult students. We offer upper secondary and adult education as well as vocational higher education (YH) in aviation. Within our upper secondary operations, we offer education that prepares for work in the automotive, transport, aviation mechanic, and construction industries.

For us, it is central to have close contact and collaboration with the industry and business life, especially in Västmanland County. Other Information

Before you can be employed, you need to present a clean extract from the police's criminal record register. In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of personal status together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
