About Duved School

Duved School is a grades F-9 school with approximately 570 students. Our after-school center has approximately 170 students divided into two sections: grades F-1 and grades 2-5. The after-school center has its own premises that do not need to be shared with the school's operations. It is close to nature, and we have a large, hilly schoolyard.

Responsibilities

In your role as a teacher at the after-school center, you will work with the team to improve the quality of the pedagogical work and participate in development work together with other teachers and after-school leaders. The teaching at the after-school center should stimulate students' development and learning while offering them a meaningful leisure time. This should be achieved by basing the teaching on students' needs, interests, and experiences, while also continuously challenging them further by inspiring them to new discoveries. In the teaching, students should be offered a variety of working methods, forms of expression, and learning environments that integrate care and learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for the after-school center. If you also have subject-specific qualifications, we consider it a great advantage.

The position is vacant provided there is no surplus staff, need for reassignment, or priority rights within the municipality. Probationary employment may apply. An extract from the criminal record certificate must be submitted before the position can be taken up.
