Your Responsibilities

Teaching mathematics and one or more other natural science subjects and/or technology. On the introductory programme, students study according to individual study plans and personal goals, which means you will not follow a class in the same way as on other upper secondary programmes. Your teaching needs to be based on the individual's level and goals for their studies. You need to try and re-evaluate your methods, and it is important that you are patient and good at explaining mathematics in different ways.

You will be part of a work team with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues. Together with the rest of the team, you are expected to develop working methods, attitudes, and broaden the pedagogical toolbox to meet all students based on their prerequisites and give them the opportunity to get as far as possible.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher and qualified to teach mathematics and one or more other natural science subjects or technology at the lower secondary level and the introductory programme. You have good and deep subject knowledge and a broad pedagogical toolbox. You have several years of experience in teaching and mentoring. We are looking for you who find joy in adapting your teaching to students' different needs and prerequisites. Furthermore, you have good digital competence and experience working in various digital platforms. A prerequisite for thriving with us is that you, like us, believe that it is possible to create one of Sweden's best schools and workplaces through high quality, participation, security, collaboration, clarity, and respect. It is meritorious if you are qualified to teach at the upper secondary level.

About the Employment Terms

The position is a permanent full-time employment with holiday service starting from August 2026. In some cases, we apply a probationary period of up to 6 months and require a certificate of good conduct upon employment.
