Mockfjärd School is located close to nature, offering excellent opportunities for many outdoor activities. Every day, over 400 students receive their education at the school, spread across grades F-9. We also have a leisure center with approximately 120 enrolled children. In the same building, you will also find the municipality's adapted primary school, a school and public library, as well as the IM program from the upper secondary school.

The school's student health team consists of school nurses, special needs educators, special education teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, and principals. Mockfjärd School has a staff of approximately 80 people with various qualifications and roles. Job Responsibilities

In your role as a teacher, you will be responsible for teaching in Physical Education and Health. An important part of this responsibility is working to adapt the learning environment based on the needs you encounter at the individual and group level, all to meet the students exactly where they are in their development. To succeed in this assignment, you need to have a good ability to plan your subject and lead your students based on the primary school curriculum.

You also need to be good at, and see the value in, creating good contact with guardians, and you are careful to maintain clear documentation regarding your students. You will individually and together with your colleagues plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work based on the school's governing documents. Together with other mentors in the team, you contribute to creating a holistic view of the student. The position may include mentorship, so you also need to value the work of building relationships with your students.

Qualifications

As a teacher, you need to have the ability to see your students' changing needs and interests. You need to have an inclusive approach, based on good pedagogical insight with a thoughtful knowledge and student perspective. If you have knowledge and experience of working with students' varying challenges related to NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), it is an advantage.

Even though your main task is to be responsible for teaching in your teaching groups, it is important that you can have a holistic perspective where you are interested in and work for the entire school's development work. To thrive in the role, it is therefore important that you place great value on collaboration with other professions at the school, that you are structured but still flexible, and thus quickly can adapt to changed circumstances.

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Physical Education and Health. For the position, it is important that you are used to working with digital tools in a learning process.

Terms

The position is a permanent employment with an extent of 100%.

The start date is August 10, 2026, or as agreed. Before employment, teacher certification and a valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register must be presented.
