We are now looking for preschool teachers for our preschools Hälsingberg and Kantarellen!

The preschools are located in the Hälsingberg/Korsnäs area, just outside the center of Falun, and consist of two departments with children aged 1-5 years. The preschools have lovely outdoor playgrounds and inspiring indoor learning environments. We who work here are a group of educators focused on the children and their development and learning. We are now looking for engaged and solution-oriented preschool teachers who want to help develop the pedagogical work at our preschools.

The preschools are part of Team Runn, a joint collaboration with six preschools and three principals to create various networks to increase quality, knowledge, and equity across all our preschools. We work systematically and document in Unikum, which is part of Falu Preschool's systematic quality work, and we offer our educators five study days per year for planning, follow-up, and evaluation of the operations. We offer reflection and planning time, regular training, and many opportunities for collegial learning with your colleagues. Participation and influence in the work environment are also important to us.

We have access to guidance from a special needs pedagogue in our work, and we are part of "Together for Every Child," a collaboration between Falu Municipality and Region Dalarna aimed at coordinating early interventions for the benefit of the child.

Job Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues in the work team, you, as a preschool teacher, have the main responsibility for the education and teaching in the preschool. The education should be based on a holistic view of the children's needs, where care, development, and learning form a whole. As an employee in the preschool, you must follow the norms and values stated in the preschool curriculum and contribute to carrying out the preschool's mission according to the goals and guidelines in the curriculum. You should also offer each child secure care and promote the development and learning of all children.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role

• Teacher certification as a preschool teacher or alternatively as a teacher for younger ages
• Thorough familiarity with the preschool curriculum
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

Engaged, positive, and development-oriented are words that characterize you. We would like the person working with us to be engaged in their own learning and have the ability to translate their knowledge into the curriculum's intentions for higher goal achievement for our preschool children.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Meritorious qualifications

• Knowledge of how you make visible and further develop children's learning using pedagogical documentation
• Interest and experience in working with learning environments to create good conditions for teaching and learning.
• Experience and knowledge of working with children in need of support

Employment Conditions

The recruitment concerns a permanent full-time position, with an start date as agreed. Interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
