Tunet School is a grades F-6 school with approximately 160 students, located on the outskirts of Borlänge. The school enjoys a beautiful natural setting with fantastic nature right nearby, inviting outdoor activities and sports such as skiing and ice skating.

Job Responsibilities

You will work as a teacher in grades 1-3 based on your qualifications for grades F-3, where the main task is to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching.

• Document and provide feedback on knowledge development to students and guardians through development conferences and follow-ups.
• Create safety and a conducive learning environment in the group.
• Have individual responsibility for a class in lower secondary school, while also collaborating with the F-3 work team and other colleagues at the school.
• Work collegially at the school and, together with your colleagues, drive the development of the school with the students' best interests in mind.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Licensed teacher for grades F-3, with education in basic reading, writing, and mathematics learning.
• You master the Swedish language at a high level, as clear communication is of great importance in teaching.
• You have experience working in schools, have an understanding of the assignment, and the challenges the school faces.

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and being well-versed in what this entails.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Driver's license category B.

• You are a calm, clear, structured, and organized person who has the ability to plan work areas and put them into practice.
• You are secure in your leadership role, communicative, driven, and have an easy time leading a group on your own.
