Hushagsgymnasiet is a upper secondary school offering vocational programs in: Construction and Civil Engineering, Restaurant and Food Management, Industry, Vehicle and Transport, Electricity and Energy, and Plumbing and Property Management.

We have approximately 600 students and over 70 employees working together.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our employees is going on parental leave, we are now looking for a substitute teacher at 50% to teach History, starting as soon as possible. Your ability to build strong relationships and adapt your support to each individual's needs is crucial to us. We value your experience working with people and your insight into the importance of collaboration for an effective and positive learning environment.

In the role of a teacher here, you will primarily be responsible for teaching your students, including all associated planning and follow-up work. You are expected to work closely with colleagues in your team. We look forward to welcoming someone who is ready to make a real difference in our students' education and well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained teacher or have previous experience working as a teacher. What we are primarily seeking is competence in History. Competence in other subjects is also considered an advantage.

Very good oral and written skills in Swedish are required.

Experience working as a mentor and with Unikum or similar platforms is also considered an advantage.

Personal qualities:

As a pedagogue, you must have a good ability to support all students and meet each student according to their prerequisites. You have experience working with people, creating good relationships for easy and smooth collaboration with other colleagues. You understand that school is a changing operation that sometimes requires the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions. You are accustomed to working and adapting your teaching based on how well students respond to your original planning.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months.
Working hours: Daytime.
