Tunet School is a grades F-6 school with approximately 160 students, located on the outskirts of Borlänge. The school enjoys a beautiful natural setting with fantastic nature right around the corner, inviting outdoor activities and sports such as skiing and ice skating.

Job Responsibilities

To work as a teacher in grades 1-3 based on your qualification for grades F-3, where the main task is to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching.

To document and provide feedback on knowledge development to students and guardians through development conferences and follow-ups.

To create security and study peace in the group.

To have individual responsibility for a class in the lower primary school but also collaborate with the F-3 work team as well as with other colleagues at the school.

To work collegially together at the school and together with your colleagues drive the development of the school with the students' best interests in mind.

Qualifications

Basic requirements for the position:

• Licensed teacher for grades F-3, with education in basic reading, writing, and mathematics learning.
• You master the Swedish language at a high level, as clear communication is of great importance in teaching.
• You have experience of working within the school system, have an understanding of the assignment and the challenges the school faces.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience of working with students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and being well versed in what this entails.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Class B driver's license.

Personal qualities:

• You are a calm, clear, structured, and organized person who has the ability to plan work areas and put them into practice.
• You are secure in your leadership role, are communicative and driven, and have an easy time leading a group on your own.
• You value collaboration and collegial work to be able to drive development work together with your colleagues.
• You have a positive view of students and are good at building good relationships with students and guardians.
• You are flexible and have a solution focus for the students' best interests.
