Sundbornsskolan is growing and today we have approximately 160 students in grades F-6 and 25 staff members. The school is part of the Svärdsjö school district, which comprises a total of six schools with just over 900 students and 150 employees.
We now need to complement our team with a teacher for the lower primary school (grades F-3). Are you an engaged teacher who builds sustainable relationships with students? Can you capture their curiosity and desire to learn? Do you have high expectations for students' ability to develop? Are you sensitive to each student's prerequisites and needs? Do you have the will and curiosity to develop a school that strives for accessible learning environments and safety for all students?

Job Description
You will plan, implement, document, and evaluate teaching in relation to student learning and the school's governing documents. The position involves being a class teacher. You will be part of a work team and are expected to collaborate with your colleagues to develop teaching and stimulate students' knowledge acquisition and goal achievement. You work for a good learning and working environment and actively participate in the school's development work.
Qualifications
Required for the role:
- Teaching certificate
- Teacher education with eligibility to teach in grades F-3
Personal Qualities
As a person, you are positive and flexible. You are confident and clear in your leadership and professional role, responsible, sensitive, and have the ability to work individually adapted. You also have the ability to create good contacts with students and parents. You can capture and stimulate students' curiosity, interest, and learning. You have good collaborative and communicative skills and contribute to a good working climate in meetings with both school management and teacher teams. You are comfortable working with digital systems and see digital tools as a natural part of working with students.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Meritorious Qualifications
- Experience working with students in need of special support
- Experience in pedagogical development work
- Experience working with accessible learning environments and differentiated teaching
Employment Conditions
Temporary full-time position during the autumn term 2026 with a possible opportunity for extension. Holiday relief position.
