Röda Berga After-School Center

 

We are a group of wonderful students looking for exactly you! We attend Röda Berga After-School Center in newly renovated premises in Smedjebacken Municipality. We discover many important and fun things at after-school care, and now we hope that you want to join us and teach us even more. You should be positive, engaged, and skilled at building relationships with all students. Promote good cooperation with students, guardians, and colleagues. Röda Berga After-School Center is located in newly renovated premises in the same building as the school where grades F-3 are located. The staff and students get along well and see issues concerning knowledge, study environment, security, motivation, and tolerance as obvious and important issues to work with. We are looking for you who really want to make a difference for students, and who want to be close and support students in their development to achieve good results.

 

Job Responsibilities

The work involves you working as support/resource in the classroom together with teachers at the school during the school day.

 

You will, in collaboration with other staff, be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the activities for students in school and after-school care.

 

As an employee, you are expected to focus on the inclusion perspective with the student's entire learning in the center.

 

In your assignment, you will also work to develop the after-school center based on governing documents and the activity plan that exists at the school, working to ensure that the school and after-school center complement each other.

 

Other tasks may also occur, and the content and conditions of the work may change over time.

 

Qualifications

  • Teacher's degree/primary teacher's degree with a focus on after-school care or preschool teacher's degree.

Experience of working in after-school care is meritorious.

  • You have an approach and treatment that focuses on seeing opportunities and designing solutions that benefit all children/students.
  • You have a good ability to identify success factors for children's/students' development, learning, and identity formation.
  • You have excellent cooperation skills both with our students as well as with guardians and other staff.
  • You see digital tools as a natural part of everyday life and a clear element in the work with teaching.
  • You are well acquainted with the after-school teacher's assignment and see the recesses as an important part of our children's/students' education.
  • You are creative and want to be involved in creating developing learning environments to meet the individual and the group.
