We are looking for an experienced childcare worker who wants to work in an exploratory, project-oriented manner close to the children's processes

We som Växer started our operations in 1993 and today run five preschools in Stockholm City and Nacka Municipality. We have approximately 75 employees and work in a Reggio Emilia-inspired manner, with a clear focus on exploration, project-based learning, and aesthetic learning processes.

We are now looking for an experienced, curious, and collaborative childcare worker who wants to step into a context where the exploratory approach is central. We are looking for you who, with joy and commitment, want to work project-oriented "at the forefront" – follow the children's processes over time, be close to their questions and expressions, and contribute a strong aesthetic, workshop, and atelier mindset to everyday life.

At our organization, all employees have actively chosen to work with an exploratory approach. We want you to also be someone who seeks out exactly this type of context – where pedagogical documentation, reflection, materials, environment, and collegial learning are important parts of the work.

About the role

As a childcare worker with us, you are an important part of the work team. You are expected to contribute with commitment, personal drive, and a willingness to take initiative. Together with your colleagues, you drive development work, follow the children's projects, and create environments where the children's curiosity, play, and learning can take place.

You need to have a good ability to cooperate, listen, and share both experiences and knowledge. With us, reflection together with colleagues is an important tool for developing both the operations and your own professional role.

We would appreciate it if you have experience working with pedagogical documentation, project work, creative materials, atelier work, or other aesthetic expressions. The most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in children's exploration and a desire to develop further in a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach.

• are curious about children's questions, hypotheses, and expressions
• have an aesthetic interest and preferably experience with workshops, ateliers, or creative work
• are secure in collaboration and see the work team as an important part of the pedagogical work
• want to contribute to a warm, professional, and learning work environment
• have the ability to see the needs of the children, the group, and the preschool as a whole

The children, the environment, and learning

Your task is to give the children a secure, stimulating, and meaningful everyday life at the preschool together with the work team. Care, play, outdoor activities, creativity, conversation, and exploration are central parts of the work. You are present in the children's play and learning processes, ensure that all children are noticed, and work to ensure that every child gets to be involved in the group.

We work based on the Preschool Curriculum, the School Act, and other regulatory documents, as well as We som Växer's own goals and policy documents. As an experienced childcare worker, you are expected to participate in planning, documentation, reflection, development discussions, and in the work with action plans for children who need extra support and stimulation.

Collaboration with guardians

Contact with guardians is an important part of the assignment. We are looking for you who have a respectful and listening approach and who, together with the work team, work to ensure that families feel safe, welcome, and heard.
