Job Description

Do you want to work at a newly built school in central Växjö?

Ulriksbergskolan is a municipal school located centrally in Växjö. Due to leave, we need to hire an additional lower secondary school teacher to our current grade team, which consists of 3 teachers and one student resource for approximately 65 students.

The employees currently working at Ulriksbergskolan are dedicated and experienced educators who together create the best for the students, focusing on trust-based relationships and a good study environment so that all our students can develop as far as possible based on the goals of the education. There are well-established structures and "red threads" in the school's work as both the school leadership and employees have worked together for a long time.

We are looking for you who want to become a new colleague at Ulriksbergskolan! In the role, you will be a teacher together with three other teachers for one of the school's grade teams. In the classroom, you create a safe learning environment characterized by good study atmosphere and a trust-based climate. You work consciously to establish good relationships with the students to achieve high goal fulfillment. You have a good ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated and certified as a lower secondary school teacher, preferably with qualifications in the subjects Science (NO), Mathematics, and Swedish. You work consciously to establish good relationships with the students and to meet each student based on their prerequisites. You have a good ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, and you have a genuine interest in children's learning.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

The position is a temporary assignment (substitute) for the period August 10, 2026, to December 22, 2026.
